When I look at my life and its secret colours, I feel like bursting into tears.

So I’m crafting a lot of the elements for my wedding. ALOT is DYI. I’m hand stamping everyone’s name by individual letter onto escort cards, for about 100 guests. I think I want to do homemade center pieces. Either like the first one with the succulent, but like in a faux gold mercury glass container (that I have to DIY) or just a bunch of babys breath …. I used a stencil and chalk markers for the sign in the first pic. I might redo it with gold letter stickers instead, but I can’t decide.

I don’t love you as if you were a rose of salt, topaz,
or arrow of carnations that propagate fire:
I love you as one loves certain obscure things,
secretly, between the shadow and the soul.

I love you as the plant that doesn’t bloom but carries
the light of those flowers, hidden, within itself,
and thanks to your love the tight aroma that arose
from the earth lives dimly in my body.

I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where,
I love you directly without problems or pride:
I love you like this because I don’t know any other way to love,
except in this form in which I am not nor are you,
so close that your hand upon my chest is mine,
so close that your eyes close with my dreams.

Your combination of dreary conceit and vulnerability always discouraged people from telling you unvarnished truths. The result is that you have become the victim of a dismal self-importance, which hides your inner problems. Sooner or later, someone would have told you this. It might just as well be me.

I really need to start writing again. Writing short stories, poetry, music. Making art. Life is so lackluster with out a creative outlet.
